A little bit about Jordan

I'm Jordan, a Financial Planning Consultant serving the Greater Manchester area. I’ve worked in the industry for over 5 years, and have been lucky enough to build some great relationships with my clients and have helped improve their lives in tangible ways. From helping people invest for the first time, creating plans for retirement to organising estates for the next generation. Achieving the right outcome is at the heart of everything I do for my clients.

New Year, new money goals

Graphic people celebrating the New Year

What’s your New Year’s resolution? We associate January with a flurry of gym subscriptions and better eating habits. But what about the health of your finances? Here’s how I want to encourage everyone to make their money work harder this year:

  1. Look back
Did your circumstances change last year? It’s easy to overlook life changes when you’re in the thick of it - things like pay rises, promotions, or moving house. Similarly, the latest Budget might have introduced new financial regulations you’ll need to consider. In a review, we can look at how those changes might impact you.
  2. Look forward
What do you want to achieve - not just this year but in the future? Are you planning to expand your family, or maybe focusing on retiring early? Whatever your priorities are, I can use a cashflow model to help you see if your financial strategy is in line with those goals.
  3. Take small steps
With the right help and guidance, there are surprisingly simple changes you can make. Switching to a higher interest savings account, for example. Or finding opportunities to reduce your outgoings (like scrapping unused subscriptions) and investing that money instead. We can identify those small opportunities, and look for bigger ones too - like getting you on the right track to make sure you have the income you need for retirement.

Let’s make a plan for the year ahead and get January off to the best possible start. Just get in touch and we’ll agree on a convenient time for a meeting or call.

With retirement approaching I had no idea what to do for the best with my pension pot or how to find a good, trustworthy financial adviser. As luck would have it, through Unison, I was put in contact with Jordan and am very thankful to have done so. With his patient and clear guidance, Jordan has sorted out my muddled thinking and calmed my financial nerves. I now feel confident that my pension is being well managed and that I have an adviser who is both reliable and approachable. I am very happy to recommend him.

Having Jordan prepare a financial forecast for us has been life-changing - it's given me the confidence to grab an early retirement opportunity in the knowledge that our financial future is in hand.

E. Maddison

I've had a really good experience of working with Jordan. He was very thorough when finding out the areas I needed help with, explained them well in layman's terms, and was efficient at getting them in place. I will definitely recommend him where I can.

I didn't have a clue how pensions worked until a met up with Jordan. He explained everything to me in simple terms and made me confident in transferring my pension over to Quilter. What I didn't realise was how smooth and quick the process would be and I even got my cash lump sum sooner than I expected so thank you so much Jordan.

Over the past 10 years, I have completed a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Investment and passed several industry exams on my route to gaining the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, to ensure I’m able to best advise my clients at all times. I also adhere to a program of continuous professional development, this ensures my knowledge is always up to date.
