A little bit about Paul
I offer Financial Advice that is tailored to you. Based on considerable experience in the financial sector. My aim always to help businesses and individuals take a holistic view of their financial position to help them achieve their objectives. I would be delighted to speak with you and offer expert recommendations, whether you’re seeking advice for yourself, your family or your business.
I offer advice on most areas of financial planning and will refer you to an appropriate in firm specialist for more niche areas. I for example am a specialist in final salary work as well as the services listed below.
Mortgage Service - Paul offers a comprehensive mortgage service, helping a full spectrum of clients, from buyers in regular employment, through to contractors and the self-employed. He can help with first time purchases, re-mortgages, and buy-to-let. Whatever your circumstances, Paul is confident he can help you get the most appropriate rate, tailored to suit your individual needs.
Family and business protection - Paul can assist his clients to explore and understand the potential personal & business risks that could arise. He can then provide options for protection against these risks, enabling the client to prioritise and decide which risks they feel are the most important to cover.
Retirement planning – Modern retirement planning is complex, as often life plans and tax rules change throughout our lifetime. It is vital to make sure that you are getting the most out of your current holdings, in order to help you achieve your long-term financial independence aims. Regular reviews are advisable and Paul will be happy to assist you in these matters, transferring or unlocking old pensions and setting up new work or personal pension schemes where advisable.
Personal portfolio planning – Choosing how and where to best invest your money can be time-consuming and confusing. In wealth management and investment planning, there are a lot of factors to consider, such as tax efficiency, risk, volatility and performance. Paul can help guide you through this complex area, helping you to understand which type of investments best suit your portfolio and plans.
Paul is happy to meet clients at their homes or place of work. Please contact the office to arrange an appointment.
Transferring out of a Final Salary scheme is unlikely to be in the best interests of most people.

Tackle tax year end with confidence
Tax rules can seem pretty impenetrable. With the new Budget, and so many different allowances and regulations to keep up with, it’s no wonder millions of us end up accidentally missing opportunities - equating to millions of pounds a year.1
In this case, ignorance really isn’t bliss. And by confidently preparing for tax year end, you can be sure you’re getting all the money you’re entitled to - whether that’s by saving as much as you can tax-efficiently or just using your allowances to their full extent.
I can go through your financial position with you, so you’re ready for tax year end on 5 April. Did you know, for instance, that only 1 in 7 savers fully use their ISA?2 Or that you could be one of the 2m couples3 who aren’t making the most of their marriage allowance?
Together we can make this tax year end something to celebrate, rather than pass by. Get in touch for your tax year end review, or a cashflow modelling session to understand your financial position better.
For ISAs, Investors do not pay any personal tax on income or gains, but may pay unrecoverable tax on income from stocks and shares received by the ISA managers.
Tax treatment varies according to individual circumstances and is subject to change.
Stocks and Shares ISAs invest in corporate bonds, stocks and shares and other assets that fluctuate in value.
