Tackle tax year end with confidence

Graphic showing an alarm clock in front of a calendar and a pile of coins

Tax rules can seem pretty impenetrable. With the new Budget, and so many different allowances and regulations to keep up with, it’s no wonder millions of us end up accidentally missing opportunities - equating to millions of pounds a year.1

In this case, ignorance really isn’t bliss. And by confidently preparing for tax year end, you can be sure you’re getting all the money you’re entitled to - whether that’s by saving as much as you can tax-efficiently or just using your allowances to their full extent.

I can go through your financial position with you, so you’re ready for tax year end on 5 April. Did you know, for instance, that only 1 in 7 savers fully use their ISA?2 Or that you could be one of the 2m couples3 who aren’t making the most of their marriage allowance?

Together we can make this tax year end something to celebrate, rather than pass by. Get in touch for your tax year end review, or a cashflow modelling session to understand your financial position better.

For ISAs, Investors do not pay any personal tax on income or gains, but may pay unrecoverable tax on income from stocks and shares received by the ISA managers.

Tax treatment varies according to individual circumstances and is subject to change.

Stocks and Shares ISAs invest in corporate bonds, stocks and shares and other assets that fluctuate in value.

We are approaching retirement age and needed advice on our pensions.

Stacey carried out a full financial review and gave us reassurance we can retire at 55.

We transferred to Quilter and feel so relieved that Stacey is looking after our whole family finances.

I am nearing retirement and needed advice to consolidate the various pension pots I have including a final salary one.

Stacey went through all my pensions and got updates on them, she then gave me a report on the various options available to me, along with advice in planning for my retirement.

Following this she then transferred my pensions into one new portfolio, gave sound advice on what to do with my final salary pension and sorted all the paperwork going forward.

I am very happy with the advice Stacey gave me, I now have a good understanding of the options available to me as I near my retirement and Stacey is always only a phone call away.

I was looking at setting up a lifetime annuity for 4 separate pension funds and, Stacey provided details of all my options so I could consider the best pension type before deciding on a lifetime annuity.

She gave excellent advice, provided updates at all times on progress and assisted with additional queries and assistance to ensure that transfers and setting up of annuity was completed on time.

The final lifetime annuity provided exactly what I required and rates that were higher than I originally expected - everything was first class and have no criticism whatsoever!

Stacey helped me to look at my available options for early retirement and make an informed decision which was best for me.

Throughout the whole process she kept in regular contact, letting me know how things were progressing.

I don’t feel that Stacey could have done anything better!

I wanted to transfer a Defined Benefit pension and was struggling to find an adviser with the necessary skills.

I knew after my 1st conversation with Stacey that I was in good hands.

The process was complex and took some time but I was kept informed at every stage. The advice given has enabled me to retire at age 56 and be confident that my future retirement is financially viable.

I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone looking for financial advice!
