Tackle tax year end with confidence

Graphic showing an alarm clock in front of a calendar and a pile of coins

Tax rules can seem pretty impenetrable. With the new Budget, and so many different allowances and regulations to keep up with, it’s no wonder millions of us end up accidentally missing opportunities - equating to millions of pounds a year.1

In this case, ignorance really isn’t bliss. And by confidently preparing for tax year end, you can be sure you’re getting all the money you’re entitled to - whether that’s by saving as much as you can tax-efficiently or just using your allowances to their full extent.

I can go through your financial position with you, so you’re ready for tax year end on 5 April. Did you know, for instance, that only 1 in 7 savers fully use their ISA?2 Or that you could be one of the 2m couples3 who aren’t making the most of their marriage allowance?

Together we can make this tax year end something to celebrate, rather than pass by. Get in touch for your tax year end review, or a cashflow modelling session to understand your financial position better.

For ISAs, Investors do not pay any personal tax on income or gains, but may pay unrecoverable tax on income from stocks and shares received by the ISA managers.

Tax treatment varies according to individual circumstances and is subject to change.

Stocks and Shares ISAs invest in corporate bonds, stocks and shares and other assets that fluctuate in value.

My wife and I were looking to buy a house as part of the process we were recommended to speak with someone to discuss our mortgage, the first contact was the usual in the estate agents putting figures into a computer and explaining how much we could borrow without even looking into our personal circumstances.

Luckily, we were recommended to contact Vicky Parks that's when things changed Vicky came to see us and it was like catching up with an old friend. After ascertaining our circumstances Vicky advised us to save more money to get a better rate and wait six months, not thinking of commission and closing a deal asap. We followed Vicky advice and made an appointment for six months’ time with her. We then called her after 4 months saying we had found a house she laughed and said I guessed that we wouldn't wait.

Then the hard work started for Vicky however she didn't turn us away she searched for the best deal and step by step she kept us informed even when we were out of the country. The road was difficult securing us a mortgage however Vicky secured us the best mortgage possible and advised us on all the other products available with the sort of truth that you would look for. Vicky is a genuine person that I now recommend to everyone I meet trying to buy a house.

If you want an honest approach from a person that thinks of you not the commission then I would recommend Vicky Parks, we already have an appointment with her to reassess our options in two years’ time.

A friend introduced me to Vicky Parks a few years ago. Our finances needed a thorough overhaul and Vicky spent a long time going through everything and getting us sorted out, she even saves us money! We have also had to deal with a significant financial issue, which we would have found impossible to deal with without Vicky's help. I would certainly recommend Vicky to others.
