Our risk management framework is based on risk management principles.
The top three are:
- A strategy that is documented and well communicated must be in place for managing risk across the organisation, and the strategy must also include consideration of the relationships between risks.
- Risk governance structures must be in place to ensure that all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and group risk management standards are met.
- Responsibility and accountability for risk management must be clearly assigned throughout the organisation, with the aim of fostering an open and transparent organisation culture that encourages the right behaviours.
