That's why as part of our family initiative, we're pleased to be launching the Quilter app to enhance the investing experience for clients from every generation. As always, we’ve kept the value of financial advice at the core of our design, so every family you advise will be able to engage with their investments in a way they prefer.

Features of the app
The app will enhance the online experience for your clients, with a modern, intuitive design and the addition of biometric security.
They’ll also benefit from all the existing features of our online Customer Centre, which will be replicated in the app, including:
- The ability to go paperless and view documents online
- View valuations and performance (automatically defaults to 5 years or their account opening date, if less than 5 years ago)
- Carry out simple transactions, such as switches, plus withdrawals or contributions for ISA and Collective Investment Accounts
Where you have previously configured the availability of features in the online Customer Centre, these settings will also be applied to the app.
There’s also the additional option to allow your clients to contact you directly using the app. If your firm’s Master User enables this option, the ‘contact your adviser’ button will generate a pre-populated email that the customer can send to you at the click of a button, helping to reinforce the importance of your relationship.
Launching the app to your clients
Initially we launched the app to customers already registered for our online Customer Centre.
In the next few weeks, we will be conducting a pilot mailing to customers not yet using our online Customer Centre, for which we have randomly selected some customers to take part in, inviting them to download the app.
In the pilot we’ll be testing two different approaches, ahead of the full roll-out.
Key details of the pilot are:
Standalone letter
2,500 customers will receive a stand-alone letter that provides a two-part unlock code and download instructions.
Two part letter
2,500 customers will receive a letter that introduces the app and signposts a second letter. Letter two will then be sent three working days later and provides their two-part unlock code and download instructions.

Customers who download the app by 31 May will be entered into our prize draw to win either one prize of £5,000, or one of 50 x £100 vouchers.
