Yes. When selecting a client’s sub account, there are two ways to produce illustrations for a single specific change to the sub account.
- At the top of the sub account dashboard screen, alongside the ‘Projections’ button that allows you to produce ‘no change’ or ‘what if’ illustrations, there will be buttons for ‘Top up’ (except for a crystallised sub account), and ‘Money out’. These are selected when you want to make a new contribution or change the withdrawals, but as part of that process an illustration based on the new details is produced, and a link is available on the screen to view it.
- Lower down on the sub account dashboard, underneath the performance chart, there will be various tabs to select
- Selecting the ‘Money In/Out’ tab will not only summarise any regular contributions and withdrawals but it will also contain buttons to allow these details to be amended, and an illustration to be produced with a link available on the screen to view it
- Selecting the ‘Fees & charges’ tab displays the current charge basis of the account, and current level of adviser fees. It will also contain two buttons to click. The ‘Edit’ button next to the charge basis will allow you to amend the level of ongoing adviser fees and to change the charge basis if not already Charge Basis 3. The ‘Add adviser ad hoc fee’ button will allow you to apply an ad hoc fee to the sub account. Both of these methods will produce a link to view an illustration based on these changes.
Where multiple changes are required, such as a top up and an increase to the withdrawal level, these must be produced by the ‘what if’ route.
