A model portfolio is the name given to a collection of funds or other investible assets that are managed collectively by your financial adviser or a discretionary investment manager to achieve a specific objective, e.g. growth or income, and usually to a given level of risk. It is considered an efficient means of managing a collection of assets.
Whilst model portfolio functionality was available on our previous technology, the name of the model portfolio was not visible on documentation, such as valuations and contract notes. If you are invested through a model portfolio, you can now see this detailed on your statements, valuations and other documentation, along with the names of the assets you hold within the model portfolio. Please speak to your adviser if you have any questions.
