Another form is elderly financial abuse which occurs when an elderly individual is financially exploited by friends, family members, caregivers, or doorstep traders.
Possible signs are:
- Attempted fraudulent withdrawals from your account
- Forged signatures
- Recommendations made by a new friend/partner/relative that do not make financial sense to you.
