Financial Planning Consultant DipPFS, Cert CII (MP) in Worcester

A little bit about Sam

I pride myself on providing personalised, holistic financial advice in Worcester and its surrounding areas. I’ve been in the industry since 2020 and I’ve quickly progressed during this time with no plans for this to slow down. I’m on track to becoming a chartered financial planner in 2025 with further educational aspirations beyond that.

I find that the clients working with me, typically value that they have a clearer path towards achieving their goals such as retiring, passing on wealth to the next generation, or protecting their family against financial harm.

Tackle tax year end with confidence

Tax rules can seem pretty impenetrable. With the new Budget, and so many different allowances and regulations to keep up with, it’s no wonder millions of us end up accidentally missing opportunities - equating to millions of pounds a year.1

In this case, ignorance really isn’t bliss. And by confidently preparing for tax year end, you can be sure you’re getting all the money you’re entitled to - whether that’s by saving as much as you can tax-efficiently or just using your allowances to their full extent.

I can go through your financial position with you, so you’re ready for tax year end on 5 April. Did you know, for instance, that only 1 in 7 savers fully use their ISA?2 Or that you could be one of the 2m couples3 who aren’t making the most of their marriage allowance?

Together we can make this tax year end something to celebrate, rather than pass by. Get in touch for your tax year end review, or a cashflow modelling session to understand your financial position better.

For ISAs, Investors do not pay any personal tax on income or gains, but may pay unrecoverable tax on income from stocks and shares received by the ISA managers.

Tax treatment varies according to individual circumstances and is subject to change.

Stocks and Shares ISAs invest in corporate bonds, stocks and shares and other assets that fluctuate in value.

Always a pleasure working with Sam. He knows exactly where he can add value, and has consistently taken the time to understand my situation when crafting a financial strategy. I’m impressed by how he uses his own domain knowledge and surrounding network of experts to provide clear answers on a wide range of topics. Can’t recommend highly enough!

My experience with Sam, with my investments and pension was great! He was very attentive and helpful in explaining the different options to me and worked together to select the best option moving forward. I would highly recommend him, he is very professional and thorough. But also very easy to get along with and trustworthy.

My experience with Sam over the past year has been great. After receiving financial advice from a previous adviser for a number of years, I found I wasn’t getting the targeted advice that best suited my needs as a young professional.

During our first meeting, Sam took time to really get to know me and what I really wanted to get out of my future. For our following meeting, Sam researched my company’s pension scheme and other schemes available to me, and created a tailored plan that was right for me.

He’s been an ultimate professional throughout, and I’ve been extremely pleased with the financial advice he has provided and the returns so far. From my experience, I’d recommend Sam to anyone looking to seek advice. Professional. Thorough. Effective. Top work!

I’m passionate about building strong long-lasting relationships with my clients and I have a heavy focus on educating them to ensure that they are empowered to make smarter financial decisions. I also understand that it is natural human behaviour to delay making financial decisions which can ultimately be costly. I therefore, play an accountability/coaching role with my clients similarly to that of a personal trainer which again, increases the chances of my clients having a better financial outcome long term.

Fun fact: I previously played professional rugby for Worcester Warriors, albeit it was a rather short and sweet career.

Other passions include spending time with my family, cooking and walking my cocker spaniel, Buddy. Also finding time to play sports to a very amateur level, such as golf, skiing and rugby.
